The Striggles (Rock Is Hell/at)
"The Striggles" like a handful of bands and they simply copy them cheaply instead of admiring them as role models. In times like these, many bands are trying strenuously to work in an idealistic and autonomous manner - but not "The Striggles", they catch one eye with their Very Common Rock in a pleasant way. By the way, "The Striggles" give a shit about their fans. They insist on being formally addressed with family names and titles of courtesy from few fans they de facto have. They are free from ideologies, they are incredibly easy consumable, they almost do no harm to anybody in any way - and they are so adaptable, that they can respond to every new trend in a lightning speed. And they surely will. They are also exceptionally lazy and they waste very little taxpayer's money. The band plays like Bon Jovi, and the singer is barely to differentiate from Bryan Adams. And vice versa. They can not be annoying, because you won't hear about this band so often in the future. You are going to experience no particular surprises if you play their records backwards.
Stroblak (Strobl Edda, Oblak Renate) works with electronics and voice. The duo has developed from the band „Extofita", exists since 2009, sometimes also making stop motion films.
Stroblazilla was planned as a short film in the genre Kaij? Eiga (monsterfilm). In the concertante performance Klaus Meßner dances in the Stroblazilla mask. The songs of the show are like exposés for conceivable films of various genres and deal with current conditions in society. Musically Stroblazilla is located somewhere between industrial, electropop and experimental (sort of) ...

Citizens (Hedonismus Hacienda/ch)
Citizens is a swiss DJ based in Graz and member of the DJ-Collective „Hedonismus Hacienda". He loves to catch the mood of different enviroments like brewerys, fleamarkets, art galleries, clearings or subways to compile their suitable soundtrack in realtime . These different places could represent the variety of his record collection. As he gets bored quickly with one style of music, Citizens reinvents himself without effort every few years. But the basis for his musical explorations remains in Jazz, Soul and Funk in combination with electronic sounds. Citizens enjoys to work with digital audiofiles, self-produced edits, loops and samples to enhance his mixing techniques. The core of his current record bag is still an eclectic combination of sweet disco-music, funky house and garage as well as bleepy minimalistic loops, 303- or deep trucker- basslines.
